The Lighthouse Projects are a core strand of the TIDAL ArtS project. It supports artists and collectives across Europe’s coastal regions to explore the relationship between people, place, and our waters.

Through an open call, we invited proposals that respond to marine science, climate change, biodiversity, and human interaction with coastal and ocean environments.

From over 600 submissions, a diverse group of Lighthouse Artists were selected to develop new, site-specific projects spanning the Atlantic-Arctic, Baltic-North Sea, Mediterranean, and Danube-Black Sea regions.
